The Dilemma of Every Student Ever

Ok, so now I have finally realized that not all subjects give me a headache and let's narrow it down even more that in the subjects that do give me a headache there are only certain chapters which I find completely pointless. But as a student it is my birthright to criticize the present educational system.

History: Why are we being taught about the stupid decisions of long dead people. It's not I can use necromancy to call on their souls and then destroy them as a way to avenge my ancestors.

Physics : Apart from teaching about friction and gravity there is absolutely nothing useful taught in this subject. The whole thing is based on assumption and estimation. There is hardly any fact involved and that is the only reason I get ticked off.

Biology: You teach me my body's working and structure fine great. You teach me the diseases that affect me and the cures fantastic. But what is the point of teaching me the anatomy of a frog or cockroach and all the the creepy crawlers  when the first thing that I will do is reach for my slipper to hit it than identify whether it's a parasite or worm and which minuscule body part is which.

Maths : Don't even get me started on the x's and y's and all the roots and squares. There will be a single sad and pathetic chapter that deals with real everyday maths and the rest is nonsense which will never help me.

Well I can go on and on about the cons of the subjects but my thumbs have started aching typing constantly on my phone while I am stuck in an awkward family lunch. Byeeee !!

Head in the Clouds (insert cloud emoji)

So I'm back from my trip to US and at the conference that I attended and it was a great success as I won 2 prizes at the conference ( told you I awesome ). But the catch was that the conference was for just 2 days and the rest of the trip was spent making fun and some regretful memories , which are better buried off in the back of my head. Fifteen of us went Wild , Crazy AND Completely against our Character in school and had a Great time.
Some of the fun ones were :

Teaching  our recently acquired friend at the MUN the the the swaggeriest word in the punjabi language
                     TATTI ( aka POOP )
And guess what in Philippines , in the Filipino language it is known as Taei ( so many similarities *sighs and wipes non existent tears* ).

Partying to the songs sung by a street singer in the middle of the street at Fisherman's Wharf while the rest of the world stopped and stared 'cause we're Awesome.

THE BUS : Like there are so many hilarious and snortifying incidents that even the Length of the worlds longest written material would fall short in front of it. The time when we literally had dance wars in the aisle and the time when a stink bomb which could give competition to the Hiroshima atom bomb was dropped in the toilet would definitely take the cake though ( yes there was a toilet in the bus, let me tell though the idea of it stinks, literally ).

And before i get carried away with all the tales this is it for now and I promise the updates would be more regular now.

Happy Birthday To Me !!!!!!!

Guess who's turning 14, tomorrow??? That's right it's me ( stupid me, I just told that in the title, clearly the adage 'age is just a number ' seems specially true in my case since age is growing but brain is not). Now I'm gonna Party All Night...... Yeah right what I actually would be doing is, sleeping or reading or eating. And the best part about my birthday would be that it's a HOLIDAY cause Diwali is on 11th (it's cases like these in which I find India cool). But the icing on the top is that right after the Festival of Lights on 12th i.e. I will be flying to USA with a few friends and the coolest Teacher-in-charge ever and now the anticipation is way too much to handle and at random moments I was seen jumping with joy which landed me in a tight spot with the school counsellor as she was worried about my mental health. Poooooh. But all's in the past now and I can't wait to act independent and stuff for 10-11 freaking whole days. But don't worry though I will update you guys on all the adventures I have over there once I get back, but don't worry though the Diwali special will be updated day after tomorrow for all you clueless fools. Until then Ciao

Jai Siya Ram

Happy Happy Diwali my virtual friends🎆🎇💥✨!! The Festival of Lights is back again bringing with it victory of good over evil, light over darkness and of course noise over silence, smoke over fresh air and cholesterol over health. That's because we all know that apart from being the Festival of Lights and all that blah, Diwali is practically incomplete without a tonne of sweets, incessant visits to the houses of friends and relatives to give Diwali wishes , trying to play holi with the colours meant for Rangoli ( design made on the floor to welcome the Gods) and a good 'ole game of cards.

Of course bursting crackers is like a HUGE part of Diwali, but when you're a green advocate like me you don't do that and end up stuck with all the aunties and the uncles and whining babbies who are scared of all the BOOM BOOM because it hurts their ears but don't realise that in that process they hurt MY ears too, 'cause the whining and booming are like double the torture. So this time I decided to make my Diwali more fun by....... doing absolutely NOTHING new and this time it was even more boring than ever before since I couldn't even complain, or it would have led to the invetiable lecture about how I should be happy about spending time with the family and should be properly grateful to God at least on one day for everything annnnnnd you get the drift right???? Buuut this year it would have been even worse since I am going on a trip and should pray and be happy about the Golden Opportunity.
So complaining was off limits but on the inside I couldn't help but secretly wish for the Pooja ( prayer ) to be over so that we could get to the part where the food comes in. Another issue that came up yet again this year was my choice of clothes, since my family wanted me to dressed up APPROPRIATELY in Indian wear while I wanted my comfort first by wanting to wear a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt (which believe me is a huge effort from my side since when holidays are going on I am usually in my pjs) and it led to a full blown argument between my mom and I, and she won by cheating and added a bonus lecture about Sanskar like salt to my wounds. But even then Diwali is an awesome festival and I love it.

But before I go my friend suggested another way of asking people to celebrate a green Diwali, he says,'Date a pataka, instead of burning one.' ( ps pataka means a bomb ).
So comment and tell me if I managed to change your mind 😀

DOOMSDAY

The one thing that scares me even more than exams is the Open House or the Parent Teacher Conference or as I like to call it Doomsday. And hence here are a few reason why I don't like these conferences.

I for one talk a lot and I really try to tone it down but my mouth has it's own mouth so I don't have control over what comes out of it and when it comes out. So that's like a recipe for trouble. And when the teachers meet my mother complains about this issue are like a routine.

I have an extremely short temper and when someone steps out of the line with me I can't take it and the tend to see a side of mine which I don't like showing and it results in a scream and sometimes punch fest. And if a caught red handed I am bound for trouble.

My mom has a habit of giving teachers full permission to spank me if I step out of line and teachers tend to take full advantage of the right.

My mom is more social than any social media platform and that results in an exchange of contact numbers between my teachers ( emphasis on the 's') which like signing my death sentence.

So you definitely can't blame for having a fear factor and if any of you out there relate to any of the above reasons then you'll totally agree with me.

The Night Blogger

Babababananana (x2)
Bababananananaaaaaaa
I have noooo clue.
As to what I should do.
Thanks to a friend the only thing on my mind is a loooooooo.
So darn it friend I haaaate you.

This was my extremely sad and pathetic attempt at being poetic and I have realised now the writing poems is not my forte.

Truth to be told I haven't had an artistic epiphany and also didn't have an urge to really waste my time. NDTDA and FGDS may also have a role in this. And the sweet realisation of the fact that I don't have to be crushed by crushing on my crush because I'm back to normal, baby.

But wait Diwali is here and for all you firangis (it means foreigners btw) out their who have no clue about it, it's the festival of increase in the, electricity bills , cholesterol, excuses to party , create noise, land and air pollution and comment on the late night cards scene to which you weren't invited by Sharma ji.
Buuuuuut it is also the festival of now dying tradition of sharing, caring and spending time with family.
But for teens like me, it also means that mummy darling is away to some relative or the others house to give Mithai and that means FREEEEEDOM.
So yeaaaaaah I'm pretty excited.
And since I'm writing this at 2 am , forgive me for I am not in the right state of mind.

Of Aliens and Aunties

Weird hair style , Check ✔️
Weird faces ( make up and plastic surgery, which makes it look like a melted  doll's face ), Check ✔️
Weird voices ( squeaky, manly, whiny, annoying annnnd you get the drift right). Check ✔️
Weird torso ( people should really have some basic dressing sense), Check ✔️
Weird legs (like what are you doing to yourself). Check ✔️

Soooooo, Either you got what the entry's about or you didn't. Soooo regardless of the fact, there's a hell lot more common in aliens and aunties than we thought and it's actually very creepy when you think about it............
Waaaaaiiiiit, What if the aliens were aunties or vice versa or even both ways !!! The world will or is definitely doomed.
Think about Mars being ruled by aunties, who parade every single day in salwar suits , sports shoes and brinjal plaits YUCK!!! Like ulti wala puke. They would have lipstick on there teeth, their weapon of choice would de a rolling pin and metal ended parandi ( desi hair extensions, brotha ) and how can we forget the famous jutti.  And instead of a court being held, kitty parties would be there and the only way to dethrone the queen would be to spread rumours about her and then move everybody's else in their own support. And of course don't forget Selfie Day.

And here are some badass aunties giving you some idea ( the rest is up to your imagination, I really don't want to scar you).

8 Signs To Identify A Bhenji

{ Disclaimer: These are PURELY and PURELY MY VIEWS. So please no HATING.

Bhenji: origin , hindi.
Meaning: A person who either stopped giving a damn a long while ago or gives way too many damns. Also unlike most myths a guy can and should be called a Bhenji if the definition is deemed applicable for the said case.

Annnnnnd Now Presenting The EIGHT Signs To Identify A BHENJI.

They are a gossip queen/king  and know everything happening around the CITY and not just the colony.

They love to give their opinion about anything and everything, and it doesn't matter whether you ask for it or not.

They are the biggest cheap arse you'll ever meet and no kidding, they will always be ready to haggle to pay Rs. 5 instead of  Rs. 10 for a freakin ice cream.

They just luuuuuurve hogging the spot light and will go to almost any extent to grab attention as long as their dignity remains intact.

They love spending money when it is not their own. So beware next time the neighbourhood BHENJI asks you to drive her to the grocery store.

They love squishing kids and teens alike in their death grip also known as a hug. And the sloppy and disgusting kiss on the cheek which leaves a horrid mark is also not behind.

Bragging is also a trademark of a typical BHENJI because it just happens that due to their nosy parker traits and attention deficiency disorder they love to show off. Infact they are even ready to show off the paper napkin pack which they bought for Rs. 75 instead of the usual Rs. 100 and that too the branded kind.

They either care too much about there appearance to the extent of putting on lipstick before going to the washroom in their own house. Or they just don't give a damn to the extent that they have no qualms in stepping out of the house in a t-shirt with holes and a track pant with the string pulled out so much so that it reaches their knee at TWO in the afternoon.

I really don't know what I am writing. My exams just ended and I really don't even have the energy to rant about their evilness. (Sighs). So that's why I'm gonna just go with the flow ............ .............. ............................................................................................................................

You guys thought I was serious right. Puhleeze !!!

This is more of a shout out to Rikshawalli!!

So guys do check out their channels and then realize how right I was and then thank me for introducing you guys to these girls who make you pee your pants with laughter and then join the fandoms and go crazy all over again.

OMG!!!! Your Mom Is So Cool...... Nooooo

Doomsday: The day random strangers come up to you and says,"OMG your Mom is , like so cool ". And you're there with an extremely confused expression which screams , 'What did she do now ?'. And it doesn't help that your mom has this weird self-image about being the best in everything and everyone else especially YOU suck and of course apart from your younger demonic sister as well.
So  yesterday , when my mom came back from her morning gedi ( wallk ) with her nosey parker friends I had an intuition that something was up ....... And what a surprise!!! I was right ( note the sarcasm and the fact that it slightly rhymes ).

The fact that my mother was in the spotlight was not surprising considering the fact that every two days she is invited by some NGO to one of their events or is buzy with her  presentations at some fashion event or the other. But the reason for which she was in the spotlight was more shocking.

So mom and the rest of the ladies of our community had taken part in a Save The Sindhwan Canal ( which basically a cleanliness and beautification drive) earlier this year. The thing got huge support from people all over the city and caused much hue and cry. But now  apart from an occasional highlight here and there nobody really gives a dam ( PJO fandom see what I did there ). But the CHL (Country Homes Ladies) West branch is not like the rest of them , no the still organise something or the otherfor the same.

Coming back to the morning walk. While strolling along the canals bank they spotted a guy throwing trash in their beloved canal. And like  typical strong tempered Punjabi women they went up to him and made him literally poop in his pants. So imagine my surprise when I get to know and trust me this is NOT FICTION.

So  people whenever you tell me that my mom is über cool trust 'Picture अभी बाकी है मेरे दोस्त ' ( the movie has yet to begin my friend).

The Fandom Anthem ( Fandoms United )

Soooo , I just dissected counting stars by one republic cause I feel it can be the perfect anthem for all fandoms.
Hope you like it!!

"Counting Stars"

[Chorus:]
Lately I've been, I've been losing sleep

( staying up late to know what happens next).

Dreaming about the things that we could be

( dreaming about being a wizard, demigod or an other magical protagonist of your favourite fandom).

But, baby I've been, I've been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars, we'll be counting stars
Yeah, we'll be counting stars

( doing the unimaginable in the world of our favourite fandoms).

[Verse 1:]
I see this life like a swinging vine,
Swing my heart across the line

( forbidden friendships, trusting people/creatures which are usually condemned in their world and forming new relationships).

In my face is flashing signs,
Seek it out and ye shall find.

( signs of danger flash but instead of shying away the protagonist seeks out the reason behind them).

Old but I'm not that old

(all the magical teachers of respective fandoms , look as young as 20 and maybe as old as 20,000 ).

Young but I'm not that bold.

( the insecurity the protagonist feels in the beginning and sometimes before major tasks).

And I don't think the world is sold
I'm just doing what we're told

And I I I I feel something so right by doing the wrong thing

(when the wrong authorities try to diminish the hero's spark, but s/he ends up being successful in doing what the authorities say is wrong but in reality is right ).

And I I I I feel something so wrong by doing the right thing

( when the antagonist manages to control their actions for a certain while which are correct according to the evil side but wrong for the protagonist).

I could lie, couldn't I, couldn't I?
Every thing that kills me makes me feel alive.

( the fact that something bad happens to the fandoms OTP yet they continue reading/ watching hoping for best while going through the worst).

[Chorus:]
Lately I've been, I've been losing sleep
Dreaming about the things that we could be
But, baby I've been, I've been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars, we'll be counting stars
Lately I've been, I've been losing sleep
Dreaming about the things that we could be
But, baby I've been, I've been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars, we'll be-we'll be counting stars

Ye-e-yeah

[Verse 2:]
I feel her love
And I feel it burn down this river every time
Hope is our four-letter word

( the only thing that keeps everyone going in the fantasy world)

make that money watch it burn

Old but, I'm not that old
Young, but I'm not that bold
And I don't think the world is sold
I'm just doing what we're told

And I I I I feel something so wrong by doing the right thing
I could lie, couldn't I, couldn't I?
Everything that drowns me makes me wanna fly

Oh, take that money watch it burn,
Sing in the river the lessons I learned

( when time comes and the protagonist makes his/her own path and does not take the path that is already carved).

Take that money watch it burn,
Sing in the river the lessons I learned
Take that money watch it burn,
Sing in the river the lessons I learned
Take that money watch it burn,
Sing in the river the lessons I learned

Warning, You May Have NDTDA Syndrome

This is an extremely common syndrome in people but research has shown that it is a part of every teenagers life, infact it is part of their nature. NDTDA or the No Desire To Do Anything Syndrome is what has affected everyone around here.

Even The Minions Have It !!!!!!

So what's the cure for this???
Till now Dr. Seher has been able to deduct only a single solution and that to works by manipulation of the person's psychology.

The cur is none other than a lecture by the world's most lethal person when she wants to be , and that is a mother's lecture. It has worked wonders and Dr. Seher is currently speaking from experience. She hopes to find a more simpler cure. But until then prevention is better then cure.

Crush Chronicles

'I think I like him, nah he's just good looking that's all , um right ?!?!?'. So all of you know exactly what I'm talking about and if not then it's not my problem nor my business. But for those who relate to the shocking feeling of realizing the fact that you have crush and that too on a non famous person , but an honest to goodness guy who is also in school , guess what I just joined the club.

But here's the thing. The girl in both the pictures is the same one, it is the person who is being crushed on is different. And just read on before thinking that I'm crazy just read it first.

In the first case it is someone famous , maybe the popular jock or Zayn Malik. the acceptance is there because you accept that they are good looking and don't mind oogling them and soon the infatuation becomes just a bit more personal.

But the second picture is the one in which we realize that :
a). The person is not really popular.
b). They may be in reach.
c). The initial stage has passed and we're in too deep ( sort of like Candace from 'Phineas and Ferb' , you know the one which boderlines creepy ).
And hence the screaming or crying when realization dawns upon us.

Unfortunately no cure has been invented to make a crush go away. But even then they are painfully funny when they are over ( because let's face it even if you let it go your friends won't let it go for a veeeeerry looooong time ). And maybe just maybe you may even end up with them , but until then happy crushing or heartbreaking crushing 'cause 'they won't be called crushes if they didn't crush our own heart in the process '.

( don't worry I promise there will be another entry on this later but until then bye 👋. ).

5 Reasons Why Money May Actually Buy Happiness

I may sound extremely bratty right now, but trust me once you here the reasons you'll completely agree with me (hopefully).

So here they are

1). Food : (Didn't expect it, did you?). But think about it whether you go to a 5 star restaurant or make a simple bread and jam for yourself, you need money to buy it.

2). Clothes : Wether you buy them from a thrift store or H&M you need money to buy it. And whether you like to face it or not ours is an extremely self obsessed generation and most of us like everything fancy. And yet ,again money is needed.

3). Books : Haters gonna hate but the rest of you know exactly what I'm talking about , cause without books there won't be the numerous crazy fandoms we are proud of and a part of.

4). The Idiot Box : Look whether you use it to watch History TV or Star World you need to pay the bill to continue watching, becase 'बाप का राज नहीं है भाया' ( your dad isn't the king brotha ).

5). WI-FI : Literally our lifeline without which we are not able to function even for a second too has a bill which needs to be paid.

ADULTS

I'm pretty sure there is definitely something wrong with them 'cause this happens to my 3rd or 4th entry on them.
They say that teens are confusing but forget that in their case confusion happens to be their middle name. And I also have a conspiracy theory about them i.e. At some point of time kids, teens and adults all were equal and age was no bar but then there was a turning point in history because that was when a war took place between the 'adults'and the the rest of humanity.

Clearly they won 'cause otherwise we wouldn't be living under tbeir iron rule 😖.

And to justify this I don't think that I need to research any example because we are all literally surrounded by adults and while I  really enjoy not being an adult because my parents pay the WIFI bill but I really don't mind doing whatever I want and ththat includes getting up at one to eat or drink caramel sauce because I would be an adult. But until then I'll just be content by writing about it.

Faith In Humanity Restored 🙌

So I was just telling a horror story to my sisters and asked them to take a guess as to who was the victim of the story. And one of my sisters' who is in middle school said "please tell that it was Justin Bieber " !! 😂😂.

Maybe the real guy was actually killed and some demonic power took over his body. That would explain his weird antics LOL 😋

(Ps this is not actually an entry but I felt like I had to get it out. )

HA HA HA LOL 😂

It is said that laughter is the best medicine, but if you laugh without a reason then you need medicine. Yet I feel that there is always a reason no matter what behind a person laughing. So if you don't have a reason to laugh here is a range of them to choose from. ; )

(I hope you enjoyed it and I know That I am a terrible person for not updating for so long and will hopefully update soon).

The Great Indian Garam Masala 😝

Just so you know this is not a culinary entry. I am a gastronomical disaster. But about Indian families which are even more diverse than Garam Masala which is also the offspring of numerous spices.
Now I may or may not know about other families today , but people I know will agree to having crazy family roots.  And those roots make for a heck of a reunion, which held almost every 2 months. But whether one has a big family or a small one every one will agree to have these certain types of relatives.

The Know-It-All : this is the type of relative , who feels the need to give their opinion to anyone and everyone and won't rest till the work is carried out in the same way. This is mostly an elder relative like grand parents or nosy uncle and aunts.

The Perfect Pooper : this person over here is the kind of cousin who is uno perfecto in everything, the way they they do stuff is also peeeeerfect , the adults make it seem as this person's poop too is perfect and deserves to be preserved in the national museum.

• The Mirror Mirror I am the Fairest
of All : this is the type of relative who literally worship themselves and also put other down with snide comments. For example " Darling don't you use a facewash , I mean look at all the acne , you should also start using the facewash by forest essentials and your skin will also hopefully glow like mine ."  Excusez moi lady until unless I ask for your opinion don't give it to me please go back to  admiring your ugly personality in that mirror and leave me alone !!!!!

The Not A Stranger: this is the relative whom you last met ...... when you were a baby , and hence they become strangers yet you can't say that you don't remember them 'cause it's impolite and rude and hence you pretend to know them until.

It would probably take me eons to describe each and every relative of mine and hence I am going to take my leave now. But don't worry I promise I'll put up another installment of this in the near future. Ciao and until then over and out.

I'm Not Lazy ...... I'm Just Saving My Energy💪

Being a teenager is super exhausting. Period. And hence I feel that you really can't blame us for being , let's say a bit...slow. And I completely agree that there is no excuse for LAZINESS .... But if you find one please let me know. And here are what I think honestly genuine reasons for us being prone to laziness ( or as I like to call it,'on the energy saving mode ').

Just Kidding there actually is no reason behind it except for the fact that we don't really have an urge to do stuff. But sometimes I feel that it is sorta justified eg. After long tiring week or during summer vacation (any vacation for that matter). And guys this is the same reason behind my remaining AWOL for so long.

While we may debate on whether being lazy is good or not. None of us will disagree that once in a while it is a really great feeling.

Heeelp I've Been Diagnosed With FGDS !!

Before you tell that such a disease does not exist, chances are most you have it. FGDS or
Fan Girl/Boy Disorder Syndrome is very lethal. Hence following the basic protocol of 'Prevention is Better than Cure💉 ' here are some signs by none other than Dr. Seher ( a recovering specialist on the FGDS ).

This is a very common disease in today's generation, especially teenagers.
This syndrome is mainly caused by general everyday stuff such as books, solo and group artists, TV series and movies. It is yet not sure if any other things trigger this disorder.

The infected people or Fan Girl/ Boy (s) have proved to be more dangerous to fellow humans than themselves.

Here are some symptoms shown in different cases:

Although this case study specifies books , a similar pattern is shown under the influence of TV series and movies.

In the case of musicians, the patient first shows an acute interest the songs and more importantly THE LOOKS OF THE SINGER(S). Then shows slight to extreme obsession in each and every movement of the artist.

Dr. Seher advices all people acquainted with those suffering from the disease to approach them with EXTREME CAUTION !!

Dr. Seher is currently researching more on the same. But until now no cure has been procured. (And she secretly hopes that no cure is found😆. )

Best Of Both Worlds

Yes, I admit once even I used to like Hannah Montana at some point of time. But this is not about that show. This post is about us {Teenagers}. ( Isn't it always about us ). While most of the times we are confused ourselves, almost all of us will admit that being a Teenager is GREEEAAAT !!!!!

Yes , the license to party and senior perks in school are added perks. But according to me the best reason would be being a chidult ( child + adult ).

Perks of the child side
#You can still watch cartoons and not be embarrassed ( atleast I can ).
#When you are put incharge of your younger siblings you can act crazy along with them and give the excuse that you were keeping them buzy ( that's what I usually do ).
#You still have the privilege of getting sugar rushes ( most of my friends can't now ).
#The magic in Pillow fights , hide and seek , skipping and walking, s'mores , mud cakes and many more is still visible to you.

Perks of the mini adult side
#Bedtimes have now become an alien concept.
#You can easily gossip with your friends without being called a tattletale.
#High School Musical ( need I say more ).
#You have (even if mimimal) say in SOME decisions.

Wellll right now these are all the reasons I can think of , so if you can think of any other reason don't forget to comment and tell.

The AWESOMEST Feeling In The World!!

Somebody once said that nothing feels better than skinny feels ( or something like that).  But I would like to disagree because nothing and I mean NOTHING feels better than the realization that SUMMER VACATIONS have started.
At that moment our euphoria is sooooooooooooooo high that even the fact that holidays homework has been given cannot diminish our excitement.
And best part is aspiring to do a hell lot of things and eventually end up doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING !!!

So here's to SUMMER VACATIONS
AND DOING NOTHING; )

True Horror Story 2 !¡

It's 12 am and you're the only one who is up , your history book in your hand and BAM Adolf Hitler is standing in your room with a really creepy smile on his face
( I even  found a PICTURE !!!!!! ).
and weirdly enough ask's in your female history teachers voice " In which year did I die ? " You're confused, you start breathing heavily and he smiles again and then shoot's you straight through your heart and then....... TRING , TRING your alarm rings and BAM you wake up drenched in sweat. This has been the scenario of my dreams for the past one week and long gone are the dreams of my Prince Charming coming to get me in a Bugatti Veyron , all because of EXAMS!!! I swear that these exams are the BANE of my existence. It's like whenever I think of doing something even remotely fun, the realization that exam are about to start AGAIN and this thought crash lands inside my like Thor's hammer ( Avengers Assemble! ).

While some of you may think I am exaggerating other's will know exactly what I am talking about ( okay maybe I am exaggerating a bit, but can you blame me? ).

And I know that all of us experience pre-exam jitters in different ways. So don't forget to comment and tell how you experience those nerve wracking jitters ; )

Seher !! Enough is Enough !!

I'm pretty sure you guys are not unfamiliar with the dialogue and most of the times it is said in Final Tone which means that things are about to get real. I mostly get to hear these pleasant words when I supposedly overstep the boundaries between being sassy and stooping reall really low. Like whaat ?
So that's why here's a VERY IMPORTANT message for all adults who believe that there's a limit for being sassy
( and I'm pretty sure all of you definitely agree with me ).

The amount of sarcasm within us is unlimited

Second,of all you guys have taught us not to lie and speak our mind , so we can't help that we are just so creative in our way of speaking.

Third. We were taught that violence is never the answer and hence when someone does something bad for us we don't hit them but answer back , albeit a bit sharply because we were taught to stand up for what is right.

So can you really blame us for our sarcasm because I feel that it is the need of the hour. ; )

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY, TO......

The awesomest, superbest , greatest, loveliest MOTHERS of the world ( there are many good things you are but for you I'm just speechless,so yeah. ).

You guys deserve all this and more  'cause even I admit  raising our generation is no small feat ( I won't be saying this again probably till .... the next mothers day ).
So I know this is cheesy but .......

( seriously though DON'T make me say it again).

So moms around the world enjoy ordering your kids around and don't feel guilty 'cause apart from birthdays this may be the only other day you can do that without getting a sarcastic comment in return ( oh and my fellow teens.... Please don't kill me ).
A verrrrrrrrry happppppppy mother's day once again.

Broadway...... Here I Come

I know what you're thinking. This girl has finally lost it , like come on why the hell is she talking about BROADFREAKINWAY of all the things.

First of all let me assure you I am not crazy ( atleast not completely) and also know that you guys feel exactly the same way when you guys are having your well deserved 'ME time ' after a long day spent with dunderheads cause that's what I love to do. And when we are alone trust me even guys sing , dance and pretend ( based on studies after eavesdropping on my brother ; )

It's basically like our own personal talent show in which we perform what the heck ever we want to. Whether it's pretending to be a professional booty shaker or the lead actor of a soaprano. And if asked apart from time spent with bestie's this is the best time and one which I really look forward to. So coming back to the reason behind the title, I feel that most of you have realized the reason behind it. I feel that it was apt since lone time is our BROADWAY moment ( not so crazy now ,am I?? ).

For The Love Of God...Just Shut Up !!!

Often throughout life there are moments when people should just SHUT THE HELL UP. Annnnd especially when you're teen , people don't really know how to have a nice, normal conversation with us. Almost every single conversation is exactly the same , it's extremely pathetic. I mean just because you don't really get us doesn't mean you embarass yourself unnecessarily. By the time I'm done having 'normal' conversation's with an an adult I feel as if I lost 5kg's by just rolling my eyes.  So here are some conversation starters  I feel are hated by teenagers ALL AROUND THE WORLD!!!!!

• Sooo do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend???

•how was your annual result??? I'm pretty sure that an intelligent girl/boy like you must have come first.

• You're in ninth grade!!!! Oh! My , you're big girl/boy.

• Do you like Harry Styles??? No that's funny.  So then who do you like then ???

• Darling you are great with kids. Here take care of my son/daughter.

I mean hello !!! This is my life you have no right to comment, judge or put me in uncomfortable situations. And if you have no idea what social etiquettes are then don't talk to me.
Is that so hard to comprehend???

I am pretty sure that the rest of you too can easily relate to these situations. And make sure to tell me if I missed an other situation.
P.S. Don't forget to comment:)

A Fools Guide To One Direction

Yes ! One Direction happens to be one of my favorite band and I like there songs. Nothing wrong all you 1D haters. Although I am not one of those crazy , way too obsessed fans whole start a hate campaign against anyone who doesn't like 1D. But I do admit that the boys are great and Zayn leaving the band may have shook me.  So here are 5 reasons why 1D is awesome :
• The boys are hot and cute at the same time. ( do you have any idea how hard that is. )

• They all have great voices. ( I mean for me they are as good as the earlier boybands. For me that is.)

• Their antics are just soo sweet.( their personalities remind me of care bears. Is that weird or normal ? )

• did I mention that they are HOT ???

• they have cast a spell on me and light up my world like nobody else ( fellow fangirls applaud. )

• Bonus reason: )
They are proof that dreams do come true.  They started as normal teenagers on a reality show and are today A WORLD WIDE SENSATION!!!!

And if this doesn't convince you. ( just remember they are HOT and CUTE ; )

Reminder: these are purely my views so no hating. But if you agree, don't forget to comment.

Long Time No See

Sooo I haven't exactly been regular in updating but it exactly wasn't even my fault since I had my FINAL EXAMS. You read it right and like I told in one of my earlier entries me and exams don't exactly get along. But the main reason due to which I couldn't grace all of you with my awesome words is that I felt lazy. You read it right. But you have to give me some credit for admitting.  Since most of us can't even do that. Also you guys should thank Momster since her constant nagging finally got to me. Although I was off the grid for so long nothing even remotely awesome happened. Apart from awesome books annnnd , well that's about it. Being the geek I am most of my time is spent fangirling and joining new fandoms on Pint and quoting momster, 'wasting precious time '. This basically sums up my absence from the blog. So see you next time or more fitting write to you next time.

Proud To Be An Indian

My mom loves praising everything Indian, I never really understood her obsession till now. And the answer my friends I found in the place I had never even thought could give me an answer. I found it in a movie. To be specific in Ayushmaan Khurana's latest flick Hawaizada, which is a fictional take at the life story of Shivakar Talpade. Set in the later 1920's the movie shows the hardships he had to face in colonial India in order to make the first airplane ever , eight years before the Wright brothers.  But it is not just about that. The movie is about freedom, not just from colonial rule but from the unjust customs and traditions and the harsh mindsets of people. But the best part of the movie was that it makes you proud to be an Indian , proud of our legacy and heritage. Different from the cliched bollywood movies, according to me it's a must watch for all of us, as a reminder of all the great things Indians have done and why we are proud to be Indians.
( ps, do tell me what you think about the movie. Leave your thoughts in the comment box. )

THE UNUSUAL HOLIDAY  [PART 2]

I seem to be going on a lot of trips to awesomely cool places. This time it was the Matiyana Sahib Gurudwara known for showcasing Punjabi history through unbelievably realistic statues.  This time my friend and I were stuck with gossiping aunties and devilish younger siblings. But all these thoughts went flying out of my mind after the first glimpse of the magnificent Gurudwara.  As I said before the most striking feature of the holy place were the statues showing all the brave heart martyrs and there sacrifices. The detailing on the statues in the Gurudwara was impeccable down to the last detail. Sooo after the awesomest history lesson ever (seriously not even kidding)and paying our respects I finally understood why us Punjabis are called shers and shernis cause that's what we are. If you don't believe me see for yourself.

The Name's Bond.
James Bond!

Agent 007 perhaps the greatest secret agent ever known. The sole reason behind the other agents the fictional world has produced. Although a famous personality, nothing was known about his past. And thanks to the phenomenal writer Charlie Higson , Bond, one of the most mysterious fictional characters ever created now has been given a fitting past. The first book of the Young Bond series titled Silverfin is a fast paced action thriller set after the 2nd world war keeps the readers on their feet and the cunning twists leave one devoid of sleep. It's addictive plot leaves the readers  curious and hungry for more. Atleast I'm hungry for more but mom says I'm always hungry. But the question is did it leave you hungry??
